From Problem to Project - Building Reliable Sustainable Water And Wastewater Projects
Summary:
In this discussion, Rogelio will talk about how Water Finance Exchange works in communities to address water challenges. Rogelio will discuss the key elements of building resilient community systems from first contact to project commissioning. Topics will include trust building, assessment, regional considerations and community character as elements of a successful journey to project implementation.
This will be an in-person meeting with no virtual option.
Bio:
Rogelio spent the first half of his career in Public Finance. Working closely with municipal governments and industry clients to provide solutions in all stages of finance; from strategic problem solving, capital planning through financing, transaction execution and post project financial planning. Securing funding from the capital markets. Working to bring together municipalities with larger institutional investors.
In that work he is highly adept at negotiating complex financing arrangements. Leveraging experience in diverse engagements with governments, investors and the private sector while managing relationships.
In 2021 he joined Water Finance Exchange as a Director where he oversees client engagements to bring scalable water and wastewater infrastructure solutions to utility systems. In this work he focuses on water resource management and holistic solutions that consider a regional lens and affordability.
