Stacey Allison Steinbach

The presentation will cover an overview of groundwater management and policy in Texas, including recent legal and legislative developments and an outlook on the 88th legislative session related to water. It will also include a short description of TWCA’s work / and current priorities in groundwater policy. 

Stacey Allison Steinbach is the General Manager of the Texas Water Conservation Association and the Texas Ground Water Association. Previously, she served as Executive Director of the Texas Alliance of Groundwater Districts, as a coastal and public lands lawyer at the General Land Office, and as an attorney representing Texas water districts. Stacey holds a B.S. in biology/ecology from Baylor, an M.S. in wildlife and fisheries sciences from Texas A&M, and a juris doctor with honors from the University of Montana. She currently serves on the board of the National Water Resources Association.
